PATENTED PISTON LOCK TECHNOLOGY

Can’t Open in Flight Built to Deploy on Impact

Speed Broadheads require 1.5 lbs of force or less on impact to fully deploy and lock open — the lowest deployment force of any mechanical broadhead.

Every Speed ferrule contains a micro piston that regulates dynamic blade load after launch. Combined with the rearward center of gravity of the blades, the system keeps the blades controlled through acceleration and returns them to a relaxed, controlled position for flight.

Grade 5 titanium provides a strong, durable ferrule foundation for hunters who prioritize structural strength when hunting large animals with heavy muscle and bone.

What is the cutting diameter of the TI 100?+

The TI 100 has a 2.0-inch cutting diameter after deployment.

Can Speed Broadheads open in flight?+

No. Speed Broadheads' blades cannot open in flight. Patented Piston Lock Technology and the rearward center of gravity of the blades keep them controlled through acceleration and flight.
